#BIP: Burn It Down to Build It Right

The unexpected clarity of starting over with purpose
#BIP: Burn It Down to Build It Right

At the peak of the previous version of Niche of One, I had over 200 published posts.

Most of them are gone now.

Not deleted. Just unpublished, put back into the vault for refinement.

I scrapped over 170 of them because they no longer reflected who I am or what I believe. They weren’t bad, but they were out of sync.

With me.

With this brand.

With the audience I’m trying to serve now.

This isn’t just a content purge. It’s a philosophical shift.

I’m reworking those essays to align with what matters most to me now: honesty, clarity, minimalism, and utility.

The same goes for the old digital products—every eBook, every template, every toolkit is getting the same treatment. If it doesn’t align with my principles or feel like something I’d personally want to use today, it gets shelved.

I’m not starting from scratch.

I’m refining with purpose.

And no, I’m not using AI to ghostwrite this new era. But I am using it as a strategic partner. To help me brainstorm, audit, and streamline.

AI is a tool, not a replacement. It lets me stay lean while keeping my creativity intact.

I’ve also rebuilt the foundation.

From my business model, to presentation, to marketing. All focused around my code of ethics.

Around the idea that you can succeed without selling your soul or your attention span.

This time, I’m doing it differently.

Not louder. Not bigger. Just better.

And I’ll be sharing it all as it happens—one revision at a time.
